Story tips
If you have information about a menu change, a store's operations, a labor issue, or a storm response, send it our way. Include dates, locations, and any documents you can share — a phone photo of a shift schedule, a receipt, a written note. The more specific the tip, the faster we can verify it.
You can write to info@quibla.delivery any time, or call +1 206 682 2661 during business hours. Email stays the fastest route for anything with attachments.
Fixing the record
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong, tell us the page name and the exact detail that needs fixing. We log corrections and date them in the affected article, so readers can see what changed and when. Factual errors move to the front of the queue; wording preferences are lower priority.
Wrong name, number, or date in a published story. Send the page title and the exact sentence that carries the error.
Same dayA claim we attributed to the wrong source, or a quote taken out of its context. Tell us which line and what it should say.
Two daysA store that has closed, reopened, or changed its overnight hours since we last wrote about it.
Same weekTone, headline wording, or a phrase you would have written differently. We read these; they rarely change the record.
As readCorrection times above are the usual handling windows, not a promise. Complex checks take longer.

Questions about coverage
Readers often ask why we cover a particular angle, why a story has not been updated, or how we chose a store to write about. Ask us. If the answer is useful to other readers, we may add it to the relevant article rather than reply privately — so a good question can improve the page for everyone.
Common topics our inbox handles most often:
- Why a menu item got its own article Menu
- How overnight shifts are staffed Operations
- What we can confirm after a storm Weather
- Why prices differ between towns Pricing
- How workers describe their own jobs People
- Where a story's sources came from Sources
Working with us
We do not accept sponsored posts, and we do not trade coverage for meals, gifts, or payment. If you are a publicist, send a short pitch with the factual core of the story — who, what, where, when — and we will decide whether it fits our lane. PR framing is fine; invented claims are not.
If a pitch depends on a company announcement, tell us what is actually changing at store level. A new menu item, a hiring push, a remodel, a closure: those are the details we can check. Vague enthusiasm about a brand's heritage rarely turns into a story.
What a pitch should carry
- 1 The change, in one sentence a reader would understand.
- 2 The dates it takes effect and the towns affected.
- 3 A named person we can reach for questions.
- 4 Any document that supports the claim.

Windows are typical, not a guarantee. Anonymous tips are read but are harder to act on.

Questions we get most
Can I send a tip without giving my name?
Yes. We read anonymous tips, but they are harder to verify and we cannot come back to you with a follow-up question. If you can share even one document or one named person who saw the same thing, the tip moves faster through the queue.
Will you tell me before a story runs?
If you are named in a story or your store is the subject, we will reach out for comment before publication. If you are only sending background, we may not be able to confirm what we use or when it runs.
Do you accept guest posts or sponsored articles?
No. We do not run sponsored posts and we do not publish paid articles. Publicists are welcome to pitch a factual story, and we will say no if it does not fit our coverage — that answer is the same whether or not anything is offered.
Where does your Waffle House coverage stop?
We write about the chain's menu traditions, the way its stores run through the night, how crews respond to storms, and the working lives of the people behind the counter. We do not cover unrelated restaurant news, and we do not run investment or franchise-sales advice.
How do you handle documents I send?
We keep them with the story file, we do not pass them to third parties, and we only publish what the story needs. Ask us in writing if you want a document used as background only, and we will tell you plainly whether that is possible.
